Dateline: Raeford Mr. Coy Jackson, Jr. of Raeford died Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital at the age of 68. Mr. Jackson was born in Robeson County on September 24, 1945. He is preceded in death by his father Coy Jackson, Sr. and his brother, Mitchel Jackson. He was a member of Pittman Grove Baptist Church and retired from Burlington after 44 years of employment. Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife Barbara T. Jackson of Raeford, NC; 4 sons Marvin C. Jackson (Angela) of Aberdeen, NC; James Keith Jackson (Angela) of St. Pauls N.C; Steven L. Jackson (Tammy) of Raeford, NC; Jason E. Jackson (Shawn) of Aberdeen, NC; his mother Louise Jackson of Raeford, NC; 1 brother James Earl Jackson of Shallotte, NC; 2 sisters Patsy Hess of Raeford, NC; Nancy Baker (Arthur) of Raeford,NC; 1 god-daughter, Ashley Blue of Myrtle Beach and two god grandchildren, SC; and 9 grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 7:00 until 9:00pm on Friday, May 2, 2014 at Crumpler Funeral Home in Raeford. Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Ephesus Baptist Church with Reverend Stewart Wells and Reverend Ken Williams Officiating. Burial will be in Highland Biblical Gardens.
