Eleanor Thetis Thomas

Eleanor was born in Cumberland County, NC on October 21, 1936, daughter to the late George and Mattie Lunsford Hales. Eleanor retired from Burlington Industries after 42 years where she worked in the Spinning department. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Curtis Hales, Lud Hales, George Hales, and William Hales and a sister, Louise Sanders. Eleanor will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughters, Patsy Stewart and husband Douglas, Kathy Carnal, all of Raeford; a brother, Seavy Hales and wife Lib of Raeford; 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and lots of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 11:00 am - 12:00 noon Monday, April 25, 2022, at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 3219 Lindsay Road, Raeford, NC 28376.

Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 noon at the church with Pastor's Tommy Underwood and Jim Crain officiating.

Burial will follow in Raeford City Cemetery.
