Frances Christine Davis

Frances was born in Hoke County on August 20, 1947 to William and Christine Wright.

Raised in Rockfish, Frances was the oldest of seven children. She loved school and achieved perfect attendance year after year. Graduating from Hoke County High School, then working as a teachers assistant and later as a secretary.

Frances went on to birth four children; Kim, Pat, Mark & Brad. Frances married the love of her life Larry Davis and planted roots on her family's land.

Frances, better known as Mom or Granny was a beloved Mother and Grandmother. You would most-times find her binge watching TV from her recliner with a jar of iced Pepsi close by, bird-watching through the window during the commercials.

Frances was preceded in death by her Husband Larry Davis, Daughter Kimberly Avina, parents William and Christine Wright, Brother Neil Wright, Sister-in-Law Teri Wright and Grandson Philip Lee.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter to be cherished by her family; Son Patrick Miller of Stedman; Son Mark Miller & Wife Jennifer of Raeford; Son Bradley Miller & Wife Katie of Mills River; Grandchildren Brandon Dyer, Tiffany Avina-Lee, David Avina III, Wyatt Avina, Patrick Miller II, Austin Miller, Miranda Calvelo, Liam Miller, Collin Miller, Kailey Miller, Luke Miller, Maddox Miller. Great-Grandchildren Layla Dyer, Annabelle Lee, Mason Lee, Colton Lee, Evelyn Miller, Eleanor Calvelo, Evangeline Miller. As well as many other relatives and friends whom she loved dearly.

As opposed to mourning her loss, may you think of her when you enjoy a glass of Pepsi and giggle a little when you hear someone fart.

The family will host a private memorial service at a later date.
