Mrs. Frances Ward Greene Jones of 109 East Donaldson Avenue, died Saturday February 19, 2011 at Manor Care in Pinehurst at the age of 70. Mrs. Jones was born on January 25, 1941. Her parents, Harry and Hazel Greene preceded her in death. She was a member of Raeford Presbyterian Church and the Eastern Star. Mrs. Jones was the owner and operator of the NCDMV before she retired in 2006. Survivors are her companion, Steve Davis of Raeford; Her aunt Elsie Strole of Swansboro, NC. Several cousin Visitation will be Monday, February 21, 2011 between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00pm at Crumpler Funeral Home , 131 Harris Ave. Raeford. Grave side Service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at Raeford Cemetery with Reverend Mark Fisher officiating.
