Mr. George Rios Gonzalez of Raeford went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at the age of 62.Mr. Rios was born in Manhattan New York on September 28, 1958, to the late Raul Rios and Agripina Torres Gonzalez. He retired from the US Army. He received a master's degree in theology.He is survived by a son George Rios Jr. of Apex, NC; three daughters, Margarita Rios Burgess of Germany, Mercedez Millagros Rios of San Diego, CA and Shaun Monique Rios of Sanford, NC; a stepson Leo Troutman of Orlando, FL., six grandchildren, two brothers, Ruben Gonzalez of Ft. Lauderdale FL and Carlos Rios of Topeka, KS., two sisters, Noemi Gonzales and Magarita Irizarry.A graveside service will be held 10:00 am Saturday December 19, 2020 at the Raeford Cemetery with full military honors.Services have been entrusted to Crumpler Funeral Home of Raeford.
