Hector Manuel Quinones Sr.

He was born in Puerto Rico on October 07, 1949 to the late Pedro and Catalina Quinones.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Angel Luis Quinones.

Hector enjoyed staying busy, tinkering, working in his garden, and being outdoors. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, and telling stories about his career in the military. He served in the United States Army for many years before retiring.

Hector is survived by his wife of 58 years, Maryellen Brown Quinones; his six children, Maria Bannerman (Antonio), Hector Quinones, Jr., Matilda McCoy (Shawn), Mimi Quinones (Jeremy), Margarita Smith (Esau), and Adrian Quinones (Kuuipo); his thirteen grandchildren; his seven great grandchildren; his three sisters, Esther Jean-Jacques, Noemi Fuscaldo, and Josie Crawford; and a host of other family members who loved him.

A visitation will be held at Crumpler Funeral Home on Saturday, June 27, 2026 from 2:00 pm- 2:30 pm with a service following at 2:30 pm.

Services are entrusted to Crumpler Funeral Home.
