Mrs. Irene Edwards Monroe died Wednesday, August 3, 2011. Mrs. Monroe was born in Burnsville, NC. on August 11, 1920. She is preceded in death by her husband, Tracy Eugene Monroe. Survivors include two sons: Terry Monroe and wife Judy of Tampa, FL and Jeff Monroe of Autryville, NC; two daughters: Nancy Broda of Orlando, FL and Pam Judge and husband Mike of Orlando, FL; four grandchildren, Corey Judge, Nicole Judge and Kristen Broda of Orlando, FL and Lezlee Schneider and husband Shawn of Tampa, FL; two great grandchildren: Morgan and Hunter Schneider of Tampa, FL.; a sister: Velma Gaunt of Savannah, GA.; a brother: Charles Edwards of Erwin, TN. The viewing will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, August 8, 2011 with visitation following the service at Galatia Presbyterian Church, Fellowship Hall 8800 Galatia Church Road, Fayetteville, NC 28304. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, August 8, 2011 at Galatia Presbyterian Church with Reverend Shuford White officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
