Mr. Jack Dewey Combs Sr. of 4300 Red Springs Road died Friday, May 6, 2011 at his home at the age of 59. Mr. Combs was born in Welch County WV., to the late Zed Columbus Combs and Lucille Rhonda Palmer Combs. Survivors include his son, Jack D. Combs Jr. of Raeford, NC. A daughter, Lisa Combs of WV. Two sisters, Helen C. Dotson and Rovenda C. Chavis both of Raeford, NC. Two brothers, Columbus (Red) Combs of FL. and Amos Combs of Raeford, NC. A special thanks to Community Home Care and Hospice, Piedmont Home Care and his Care giver and Friend, Crystal Morrison. The family will receive relatives and friends between the hours of 7:00 and 9:00 P. M. Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Crumpler Funeral Home, 131 Harris Avenue, Raeford, NC and at other times at the home, 4300 Red Springs Road, Red Springs, NC Funeral Services will be 5:00 P. M. Sunday, May 8, 2011 at Crumpler Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jerry Edge officiating. Burial will be in Raeford Cemetery.
