Mr. James David Parks of Raeford, died Sunday, April 3, 2016 in FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, at the age of 75. Mr. Parks was born July 31, 1940 in Hoke Co. to the late Robert and Wilda Parks. He is also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Billy and Allen Parks. He is survived by his son, David Shane Parks of Monroe, NC; his daughter, Sylvia Lowery of Wagram, 2 sisters, Nan Worrell of Star, NC and Carol Beaman of Mt. Gilead, NC; 3 brothers, Robert Parks of Raeford, Gene Parks of Laurel Hill, Edwin Parks of Raeford and 5 grandchildren. A memorial graveside service will be held 2 pm Friday, April 29, 2016 at Shiloh Presbyterian Church, with Reverend Phil Pearce officiating.
