After retiring last year from a career in construction and proudly working as an overseas contractor supporting the US military, Jack spent his days playing cards and shooting darts with his kids, entertaining his grandchildren, remodeling his home, crafting rock jewelry, reading, sitting on the front porch with his 11 year old Maltese, T-bone, and ensuring each day he told his wife how much he loved her and how lucky he was to have her. A memorial service will be held, with full military honors, 11am Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the Red Springs Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Dr. David Hudson officiating. The family will receive friends after the service, at the church fellowship hall. Crumpler Funeral Home of Red Springs is serving the family.
