Lance Corporal William Jacob Luce

Lance Corporal William Jacob (Billy) Luce of Raeford, age 22, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, June 15, 2020 at Camp Lejeune, NC.Billy was born at Womack Army Hospital on Ft. Bragg, NC. on July 30, 1997. He was a member of Troop 410 where he earned his Eagle Scout Rank, JROTC at Hoke County High School and First Baptist Church of Raeford. He participated with the Hoke County Recreational Sports. He was proud of his Eagle Scout Project, placing benches in McLaughlin Park. He enlisted with the US Marine Corps in 2015 where he served as an infantry rifleman.He is survived by his parents Jim Luce and Gaby Luce of Raeford, NC., two brothers, Michael Luce and Clayton Luce and a nephew, Cayden Luce all of Raeford, NC.A visitation will be held 6:00 until 8:00 PM Friday, July 3, 2020 at First Baptist Church, 333 North Main Street, Raeford.Funeral service will be held 1:00 Saturday, July 4, 2020 at First Baptist Church with Reverend Thomas Lee officiating.Burial will be in the Raeford Cemetery with Military Honors.Memorials may be made to: First Baptist Church of Raeford333 North Main StreetRaeford, NC 28376 Funeral ServiceSaturday, July 4, 2020 1:00 PMRaeford First Baptist Church333 N.
