Lena Christine Gusler Ingram

Lena Christine Gusler Ingram, age 76, of 1349 N. Old Wire Road, Shannon, NC passed on Monday, December 13, 2010 She was born on September 20, 1934 in Franklin County, VA, a daughter to the late McKinley Gusler and Nellie Sigmon Gusler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Jefferson Ingram, a sister, Mamie Marshall, and four brothers, Herman Gusler, Jesse Gusler, Owen Gusler, and Eurell Gusler. Christine spent several years working at the DuPont Martinsville Virginia Plant where she married Thomas Ingram and became a Military Wife and traveled. She also worked many years for Martin Processing and Courtaulds Plant until she retired. Surviving is her daughter, Pamela I. Meeks and her special friend William OBriant of Shannon, NC; one grandson, Thomas J. Meeks of Rocky Mount, VA; two brothers, Nick Gusler of Monroe, NC, and Wallace Gusler of Collinsville, VA; three sisters, Ella Carter Nash of Collinsville, VA, Linda Spicer of Danville, VA, Hattie Quesinberry of Martinsville, VA; and many loving Nieces and Nephews. The family will receive friends at the Home 1349 N. Old Wire Road, Shannon, NC In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cape Fear Valley Hospice, PO Box 2000 Fayetteville, NC 28302.
