Mrs. Linda Louise Chastain of 620 Niven Avenue died Sunday, October 9, 2011 in her home at the age of 40. Mrs. Chastain was born in Delaware County, PA on November 17, 1970. Besides her family, her love was for animals, she was involved in animal rescue and placing. Mrs. Chastain was employed with the House of Raeford, she is preceded in death by her mother, Marion L. Richey. Survivors include her husband, Arthur Samuel Chastain; two sons, Nicholas Andrew Berk, and Justin Matthew Berk; and the father of her sons, Sean Michael Berk. A Memorial Service will be held 4:00 PM, Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Living Faith Ministries with Rev. Tex Deaton officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Haven Friends for Life, 400 Fulford McMillan Road, Raeford, NC 28376. Care of the family is entrusted to Crumpler Funeral Home, 131 Harris Avenue, Raeford, NC 28376.
