Mrs. Lucy McFayden Stephens of 1206 N. Fulton Street died Friday, March 11, 2011 at the age of 83. Mrs. Stephens was born in Hoke County on September 30, 1927 to the late Robert L. And Ola Stubbs McFayden. She was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons: William Stephens of Fayetteville, Vernon Stephens and wife Cindy of Raeford, and Marvin Stephens of Fayetteville; a daughter, Wanda S. Williams and husband Roger of Raeford; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held 5:00 until 7:00pm Sunday, March 13, 2011 at Crumpler Funeral Home in Raeford, 131 Harris Avenue and at other time at the home of Wanda Williams 1109 N. Main Street Raeford. Graveside Services will be 2:00pm Monday, March 14, 2011 at Tabernacle Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend James Wilhide officiating.
