Mrs. Margaret Ellen Locklear of 1137 McQueen Road departed this earthly place to her heavenly home October 12, 2013. Margaret was born on January 7, 1964 in Baltimore, MD. Mrs. Locklear is preceded in death by her mother, Mrs. Katie Mae Locklear, her father, Donald D. Linkous, and a sister, Sandra K. Hinson. Mrs. Locklear served as a caregiver for her mother-in-law. She was presently employed at Red Springs High School. She served eleven years as a faculty staff TA. She is survived by her husband, Ricky Nelson Locklear of the home; one son, Bryan Nelson Locklear of the home, one daughter, Rachael Locklear of Lumberton, one brother, Michael Linkous. Visitation will be 7-9, Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Crumpler Funeral Home-Red Springs. Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, October 18, 2013 at Living Waters Assembly of God, 2008 Buie Philadelphus Road, Red Springs, NC with Reverend Howell and Reverend Jeremy Brewington.
