Marie Parker Tyler

Mrs. Marie Parker Tyler, 90, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at the Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center in Fayetteville. Marie was born in Fairmont, NC to the late Nannie Mishue Parker and Fairley Paul Parker. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Wilson Tyler. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and baking for her family. Survivors are three daughters, Dr. Brenda Tyler Whaley Locklear and husband Larry of Raeford, NC, Margie Tyler Culbreth of Lawrenceville, GA, and Sarah Tyler Dennis Hill and husband, Alton of Raeford, NC. Grandchildren are: Hamilton Whaley and wife Janet Lee of Roswell, GA, Sean Whaley and wife Stephanie of Hampstead, NC, Heather Culbreth Woodall and husband Woody of Stone Mountain, GA, Graham Culbreth of Buford, GA, Jennifer Dennis Miramontes and husband Jesse of Fayetteville, NC, Paige Dennis Baker and husband Michael of St. Pauls, NC; Great-grandchildren are: Caroline and Hamilton Whaley of Roswell, GA, Shane and Sam Whaley of Hampstead, NC, Gabriel, Blake, and Zander Miramontes of Fayetteville, NC; Tyler Hunter and Parker Baker of St. Pauls. The family will receive relatives and friends between the hours of 7:00 and 8:00 Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Crumpler Funeral Home, 131 Harris Avenue, Raeford, NC 28376. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Carroll S. Roberson Hospice Center, 2431 Legion Road, Fayetteville, NC 28306.
