Mary Alice Long Lee

Mrs. Mary Alice Lee, of Red Springs, NC and Little River, SC, died Friday, January 27, 2012 in Seacoast Medical Center in Little River, SC at the age of 76. Mrs. Lee was born March 21, 1935 in Robeson County, NC to the late William Long and Eva Miller Long. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. (Big Bird) Lee, and two sisters, Shirley Long, and Betty Jo Edwards. Mrs. Lee was a member of Antioch Presbyterian Church, where she was a member of Circle #1. Mrs. Lee was a member of The Order of The Eastern Star in Red Springs, she was a volunteer for Hospice of Hoke County and Meals-On-Wheels in Red Springs. Survivors include two daughters, Shelia L. Latta and husband Jerry of Bunnlevel, NC, and Amy L. Pechmann of Fayetteville, NC; a grandson, Jayson L. Dixon of Asheville, NC; and three granddogs, Noah, Howie, and Little Bit. The family will receive relatives and friends between the hours of 1:00 and 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Antioch Presbyterian Church, 6582 Red Springs Road, Red Springs, NC 28377. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Antioch Presbyterian Church with Reverend Michael McGhee officiating. Burial will be in LaFayette Memorial Park, 2301 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC. Memorials may be made to Antioch Presbyterian Church, 6582 Red Springs Road, Red Springs, NC 28377.
