Nellie Graham Hernandez

Dateline: Fayetteville Mrs. (Sweet Sugar Bone) Nellie Graham Hernandez 74 of Fayetteville, NC died Monday September 1, 2013 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Mrs. Hernandez was born September 16, 1938 in Hoke County to the late Neal Woodrow Graham and Mary Lee Bruce Graham. She is preceded in death by her brothers Bruce Graham, Billy Graham, and Tony Graham, her sister Portia (Peggy) Graham and her son Wesley Wilkes. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Raeford. She was also affiliated with Jesus First Church of Fayetteville, NC. She retired as an Industrial engineer with Burlington in Raeford, NC. Mrs. Hernandez is survived by her husband Tony Hernandez of Fayetteville, NC; She was an awesome and loving mother to her five children, 2 sons Ed Wilkes and wife Melody of Atlanta, GA; Joe Wilkes of Wilmington, NC; 2 daughters Martha Brigman and husband Harold of Fayetteville, NC; Mary Beth Zaccheus and husband Manuel of Hope Mills, NC; and an awesome grandmother and to her 9 grandchildren Danny, Conner, Christopher, Steven, Wes and wife Lauren, Manuel, Charles, Angelina, Samantha. She is also survived by 3 precious great grandchildren, Natalie, Alexia, and Aubrie. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Crumpler Funeral Home 131 Harris Ave. Raeford, NC. Funeral Service will be held at 3:00pm Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Pastors Toby Neal and Gary Leviner officiating. Interment will be in the Raeford Cemetery.
