Peggy W. Summers

Mrs. Peggy W. Summers of Raeford passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021 at FirstHealth Hospice House at the age of 81.Peggy was born in Hoke County on March 7, 1939 to the late James A. Williams and Gladys M. Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas J. Summers. Mrs. Summers was a member of the Raeford Presbyterian Church. She retired from United Carolina Bank which is now BB&T.She is survived by her daughter, Kim Summers of Raeford, her son Mike Summers and his wife Janet of Raeford, NC, her sister, Lyda Jordan of Southern Pines NC, and a niece, Karen Larsen. Visitation will be held from 7:00 until 9:00 pm Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Crumpler Funeral Home in Raeford.Funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, January 24, 2021 at the Raeford Presbyterian Church with Reverend Archie Barringer officiating.
