Phyllis Ann Murdock of Raeford, NC went to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 73 on June 28, 2026. She was born in Sampson County, NC on October 16, 1952, to the late Hedin Mitchell and Dorothy Turner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chief James Earl Murdock; and several of her brothers and sisters.
Phyllis’s son, William (Robert) Murdock joined her in Heaven on June 28, 2026.
Phyllis was a member of Raeford Evangelical Methodist Church. Earlier in her life she was an avid Sewer and loved to go to the mountains in the fall to see the leaves changing. She loved her children and her dog, Blackie.
She is survived by her daughter, Tonya Ramage (Ronald); her son, Christopher Murdock (Tara); nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; three sisters; and several nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.
She will be laid to rest next to her loving husband, James at the Raeford City Cemetery, Raeford, NC 28376.
Services are entrusted to Crumpler Funeral Home.
