

Dateline: Red Springs Mrs. Priscilla (Folk) Baker of 540 Goose Pond Road, died on Monday, May 7, 2012 at the age 88. Mrs. Baker was born in Robeson County on May 12, 1923 and is preceded in death by her mother, Anna Oxendine. She was a member of Mt. Elim Baptist Church in Red Springs. Survivors include two daughters, Audrey B. Hall and her husband James of Red Springs and Freida Daniel of Lumber Bridge; two sons, Neal A. Baker of Red Springs, and Bryan Locklear and his wife Wanda of Red Springs; her sister Rosa Bell Woods of Red Springs; two brothers, Henry Woods and Lawrence Woods Jr. both of Raeford, several grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 33 great, great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews. A special friend Vera Parish Visitation will be held from 7:00 until 9:00 pm on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Crumpler Funeral Home in Red Springs Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Crumpler Funeral Home Chapel, 220 East 4th Ave. Red Springs with Pastor Oscar Henderson and Pastor Chris Webb officiating. Burial will be in the Hall Family Cemetery.
