Mr. Ronald "Ronnie" McVicker of 270 Ivey Street, Raeford died Sunday, August 31, 2014 at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital at the age of 72. Mr. McVicker was born in Cumberland County on March 4, 1942. He was a member of the Raeford Evangelical Methodist Church. He is survived by a daughter, Rhonda Outlaw (Michael) of Laurel Hill, three sons. Mark McVicker of Raeford, Timothy McVicker of Seven Lakes and Robin McVicker (Dawn) of Chesterfield, SC and the mother of his children, Alice Wood of Rockingham; his ex-wife Trudy McVicker of Raeford; three sisters, Doris Mahlum (Tom) of Calf., Virginia Bertram (Kenneth) of Aberdeen and Ann Barnes (Ronnie) of Rockfish,11 Grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 7:00 until 9:00 pm on Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014 at Crumpler Funeral Home in Raeford. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at the Raeford Evangelical Methodist Church with Pastor Roger Burns and Pastor Billy Joe Brady officiating. Burial will be in the Alloway Cemetery.
