Mrs. Ruth Wilson Green of Aberdeen, died March 11, 2016 at her home, at the age of 79. Mrs. Green was born January 17, 1937 in Union, SC, to the late Husie Wilson and Jewel Ruth Register Wilson. She was a member of Ashley Heights Baptist Church and retired McCain Department of Correction. She is survived by her husband Mr. Sydney L. Green of Aberdeen, her children, Shirley McFadyen (Bill) of Cameron, NC; Steven Vinson (Margaret) of Jamestown, NC; Amy Batten of West End, NC; Erik Vinson of Sunset Beach, NC. A visitation will be held 6-8 pm Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Crumpler Funeral Home 40229 US 1 Highway Aberdeen, NC. A funeral service will be held 2pm Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Ashley Heights Baptist Church with Pastor Kevin Huff officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
