Born on August 7, 1961, in Piqua, Ohio, Scott was the son of Patricia Orndorff and the late Donald Orndorff.
Scott was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Susan Orndorff, with whom he shared 30 years of marriage. Susan passed away last year, and together they built a life filled with family, love, and many years of memories.
Scott leaves behind his daughters, Lindsay Cooper, Elizabeth Turner, and Amber Smith, as well as the grandchildren he loved so dearly. His grandchildren held a very special place in his heart, and being their grandfather brought him tremendous joy.
Scott also shared a special bond with his mother-in-law, Cheryl Hill, whom he loved dearly and considered an important part of his life.
Scott proudly served his country in the United States Navy and later became a business owner. He was an incredibly hard worker who believed in working for what you had and taking pride in what you accomplished. His strong work ethic was a defining part of who he was and something those who knew him will always remember.
When the work was done, Scott was happiest outdoors. He enjoyed sitting by a fire, working in his yard, and tending to his garden. He appreciated the simple things in life and found peace in being outside and at home.
Above all, Scott loved his family. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, proud Navy veteran, and hardworking man. Although his family wishes they had more time with him, they are grateful for the years they shared, the memories they made, and the love he leaves behind.
Scott’s memory will live on through his family and in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Services are entrusted to Crumpler Funeral Home.
