Spencer Terry Wilking

Spencer was a resident of Raeford, NC since 1984 when he married the late Jean H. Hodges. He married Doris Register of Raeford in 2016. Spencer served in the United States Army for 14 years as a Staff Sergeant and worked in Logistics until his honorable discharge in 1985. He then worked for Heilig Myers in Transport as a company Truck Driver for many years.

Spencer loved to hunt, fish, especially ice fishing, travel and spend time with both his immediate and extended family, especially the grandchildren. They loved his antics and the special attention he gave them.

Spencer was a member of the Southern Pines Elks Lodge #1692, an AUSA member, and Lifelong member of the North American Hunting Club in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Spencer is survived by three sons, Kevin Wilking of St. Peter, MN, Shawn Wilking and wife, Tanya of Madison Lake, MN. Steven Wilking and wife Darcy of New Ulm, MN and Grandchildren Aiden, Evan, Stephanie, Tim, Jennifer and Ryan and numerous extended family grandchildren and great grandchildren who reside in North Carolina and Georgia.

A memorial graveside service will be held at Raeford Cemetery, Saturday, October 4th, 2025, at 11am.
