Susan Polston

She was born in Lumberton on August 07, 1945, to the late Thomas and Eula Monroe.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Monroe, Jr. and Hartwell Colon Monroe; and her half brothers and sister.

Susan was a member of the Church of God at Rockfish. She was a wonderful mother, and would do anything she could to help people. She enjoyed shopping and caring for her animals.

Susan is survived by her husband of 60 years, Grady Polston; her two children, Timothy (Tonya) and Angela Gayle Polston; and her grandsons, Michael Riddle (Breanna) and Matthew Scott Deaton.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 from 12:00-1:00 pm at the Church of God in Rockfish 7869 Rockfish Rd. Raeford NC 28376.

A service will follow at 1:00 pm with Pastor Gary Leviner officiating.

Burial will be held in the Cumberland Memorial Gardens Cemetery 4509 Raeford Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28304
