Timmy was born in Scotland County on June 12, 1952, to the late Joe and Thelma Smith. He was a member of Mt Elim Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sisters, Linda Britt and her husband Frank whom Timmy lived with in Red Springs, NC; Ann Henderson and her husband Donnie of Raeford, NC; a brother David Smith of FL. a host of nieces, nephews and close friends.
Visitation will be held at the family home, Linda and Frank Britt.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 Tuesday, at Mt. Elim Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend David Hunt officiating.
Memorials may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
