Mrs. Virginia Plummer Allison of 7101 Fayetteville Rd. died Friday, March 4, 2011 at the age of 94. Mrs. Allison was born in Hoke County on May 10, 1916 to the late John Henry and Virginia Powell Plummer. She was a member of the Parker United Methodist Church. Survivors are her son David Allison and his girlfriend, Bessie Norton of Raeford; a sister, Dorothy Wilson and her husband Dennis of Garner, NC; two sister-in-laws, Mary Plummer of Goldsboro, and Isabel Czuba of El Paso, TX; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 6:00 until 8:00pm Sunday, at Crumpler Funeral Home in Raeford, 131 Harris Avenue. Graveside Services will be 3:00pm Monday, March 7, 2011 at Raeford Cemetery with Reverend Archie Stevens officiating.
