Walter Calvin Hardin

The Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 5:00 pm at Crumpler FH with Pastor Roger Burns officiating.

Burial of the urn will follow in Raeford City Cemetery on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 11:00 am

Calvin was born on May 4, 1957, in Lumberton, NC. He was a graduate of Sandhills Community College and the retired owner of Snyder's-Lance Distributorship.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth C. Britt-Hardin and Alton T. Hardin

Survived by his wife, Lenora R. Hardin of Clayton, NC; Sons, Rodney L. Matthews (Brittany) of Clayton, Ronny L. Matthews of Kenly, NC (special friend, Kaitlyn Driver of Clayton); Grandchildren, Presley N. Matthews, Bear J. Matthews, and Adaline R. Matthews, all of Clayton, Kinsley R. Matthews, and Lydia M. Matthews, all of Kenly, NC; brothers, Gary Hardin of Bolivia, NC, and Tommy Hardin of Hubert, NC; Sister, Sheila H. Price of Lumberton. He is also survived by a host of Nieces, Nephews, as well as Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews.
