Dateline: Hoffman Mr. William Robert Tillman of 402 Blues Bridge Rd Hoffman died Monday, July 1, 2013 at Hospice of Richmond County at the age of 75. Mr. Tillman was born in Wayne County on September 18, 1937 to the late Robert Paul (Pete) Tillman and Elsie Louise Williams Tillman. He was a member of the Roseland Untited Methodist Church and served in the US Marines. Mr. Tillman was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Jacquelyn Jones Tillman of Hoffman, NC; two sons William (Tim) Tillman and his wife Jennifer of Gibson, NC; Robert (Paul) Tillman and his wife Malinda of Pinehurst, NC; two sisters Susie Bell and Ginny Thanes both of Mt. Olive, NC; four grandchildren David Tillman, Adam Tillman , Megan Tillman and Meredith Tillman and one great granddaughter A memorial service will be held 3:00pm Saturday July 6,2013 at the Roseland United Methodist Church.
