Mr. W.L. Priest of Raeford passed away Saturday, March 7, 2020 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital at the age 68.W.L. was born in Scotland County on July 17, 1951, to the late Walter Priest and Thelma Louise Edwards Priest. He was preceded in death by his sister Louise Priest Harrell.He is survived by two sons, Christopher Shaun Priest and his wife Rhonda of Pinehurst, Patrick Alan Priest and his partner Zachary of Raleigh, NC; a granddaughter, Peyton Celeste Priest of Pinehurst, NC; two sisters, Linda Priest Hendrix of Laurinburg, NC and Susan Priest Tyndall and her husband Steve of Raeford, NC.A graveside service will be held 1:00 pm Friday, March 13, 2020 at Highland Biblical Gardens with Pastor Toby Neal officiating.In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations in W.L.'s memory be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1533 Raeford, NC 28376.
