Albert was a veteran and served in the Army during the Korean war. He worked in construction as a brick layer and retired as owner and operator of A. E. Ferguson Construction Company.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Ferguson, of Raleigh; daughter Cheryl Booth and husband Andy of Zebulon; daughter Jackie Harter and husband George of Chesapeake, VA; sons Charles and Mark Ferguson of Raleigh; grandchildren Erica, Anthony, Seth, Sarah and Kelly; brothers Donald and Carl Ferguson and sister Dot Cross.
Honoring Albert's wishes, services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Leesville Baptist Church.
