On Friday, April 2, 2021, Andrew “Bryce” Herring, loving son, brother, and fiancé passed away in his sleep at the age of 19. He was born in London, KY, graduated from Black Forest Academy in Kandern Germany, and attended college at North Carolina State University.
Bryce was a friendly and outgoing young man who had a heart for serving others. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making others laugh. Bryce was athletic and enjoyed all kinds of sports, supporting his favorite team, NC State University, even as a child. He also loved traveling, visiting 21 countries by the time he was 18. But whether it was spending time with his friends, playing video games or traveling around the world, the one thing that was always apparent was Bryce’s love of Christ. Bryce was a believer who valued his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents Josh and Amy Herring, sisters Olivia and Lillie, and the love of his life, his fiancée Lizzie Danger. Bryce met Lizzie while participating in Christian outreach on campus and they formed an immediate and lasting bond. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Freddy and Terry Tyree; paternal grandparents, Mel and Vivian Herring; uncles and aunts, Jay and Tiffany Tyree and Jeremy and Regina Herring; cousins Ian Tyree, Collin Tyree, Kristin Braun, Alexa Gomez-Vargas, Jacob Herring; and his lifelong family friends, Jon and Tamara Hamilton, Chris, Andra, Abby, and Brayden.
While Bryce’s time on earth was brief, his spirit touched the lives of so many. He will be missed by all who knew him.
