

AnnaMarie “Anna” Donlin, 83, long-time resident of Lindenhurst, New York, passed away November 21, 2024, at her home in Raleigh, North Carolina. Born on December 3, 1940, in Copiague, New York, to Edith Mae and James Joseph Walsh. She was a devoted wife to the late James W. Donlin Sr. and a loving mother to Coreen Ann (Donlin) Levy, James W. Donlin Jr. and Sharon Ann (Donlin) Eberman.
Anna graduated from Lindenhurst High School in 1959. She was an active member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in West Babylon, New York, volunteering as a religious instruction teacher and singing in the Church’s choir. She passionately supported the West Babylon Volunteer Fire Department and served for a time as a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She loved spending time at the beach, crafting, gardening and doting on her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was particularly known for going “all in” on everything she did.
Anna is survived by her sister Kay Muzzillo, her children and grandchildren: Sean Levy, Scott Levy, James Donlin III, Michael Donlin and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by scores of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband James W. Donlin Sr. and her siblings: Edith Dickey, Patricia Monteleone, Arlene Cabral, Suzie Hancock, James, Kenneth and Dennis Walsh.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the North Shore Animal League America.
