Barbara especially enjoyed raising their children at their Kerr Lake cabin with her family and friends, boating, skiing and other activities, including home cooking and delicious food. The family also loved the beach and later added a second home at N. Myrtle B., lying out on the beach, shopped, and once again more importantly eating and dining out at many fine restaurants. Marvelous memories.
Barbara was a fun loving Duke fan and enjoyed their many road trips around the country following the blue devils basketball team with their many Duke friends. More fond memories.
Barbara and Bobby formed a special bond with our treasured family friends of which our family will always be grateful. The family acknowledges the loving support of our Hospice nurse Lisa Pearson and Chaplain Mike Shannon and our wonderful home health care providers especially Desiree, Carlie and Marta. Barbara brought happiness to all she touched. She is a Christian and wishes all her relatives and friends to know we will all reunite in heaven for eternity.
