Barbara P. Norwood, 90, died August 25, 2026, in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Barbara was born and raised in Niagara Falls, New York, where she graduated from La Salle High School.
She is survived by her husband, G. Richard Norwood; five children, Laurin L. Norwood, Tracy L. Norwood, both of Raleigh, NC, Whitney N. Husid of Young Harris, GA, Dayna N. Pitcairn of Lexington, SC, and Richard H. Norwood of Portland, OR; Five Grandchildren; one Great Granddaughter; sister, Elizabeth P. Ziblut, of Avon, OH, and her brother, Philip Pack, III, of Grand Island, NY.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 4415 Pleasant Grove Church Road, Raleigh, on September 5, 2026, at 11:00am, Heather Rodrigues officiating.
