Barbara Thomas

Barbara was a graduate of Skaneateles High School, Skaneateles, NY, Elmira College, Elmira, NY and pursued post-graduate studies at Cornell University, Ithaca, NY. A life-long educator, Barbara retired from DeRuyter Central Schools. In retirement, she enjoyed playing Bridge, solving crossword puzzles and knitting hats, mittens and scarves for local charities.

She is survived by her son: Greg Thomas of Raleigh, NC and his two daughters; daughter: Tracey Thomas (Todd Strauss) of San Francisco and their daughter; sister: Rona Grimes of Rochester, NY; brothers Douglas Campbell of Fulton, NY and Craig Cartner of Tucson, AZ; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
