Ben was always an affable and pleasant individual with a ready, warm smile. He was a principled, decent man--a true gentlemen. Whenever we saw him or his loved ones through the years, it was always a good experience. Sincere condolences to the family on the passing of this fine man.

Dear Evelyn,
My husband Skip and I worked with Ben for a # of years at Merck. He was such a good soul. Ben actually helped to train me when I first started. I'll never forget it...his car broke down and we had to walk quite a ways; I had on the most uncomfortable shoes and it had to be 100 degrees in the shade. But through it all, Ben kept his sense of humor, wit and encouragement. This photo brought so many memories rushing back to both of us. He will be missed by us here on earth but all of Heaven is surely rejoicing now that he is there. May God comfort you and give you His peace during this time.

God bless you and keep you,

Jo and Skip Jerman

Evelyn, Ben and Joyce,
I was very saddened to hear of OUR loss. I have always remembered, with great fondness, reuniting at the beach.
I know the Angels are celebrating with Big Ben and Big Ross.
What a legacy these men have. Little Ben, his little Ben, me and my Little man could ask for more in this world! Speaks volumes to their character, respect, love and joy of life.
My love, thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Love that picture - your dad's smile brings back so many memories of how good both your parents were to me. He was always so sweet to me and made me laugh. I know it is hard to say goodbye - my thoughts are with you all.

Ben was our neighbor for almost 45 years. I will miss talking with him in the yard and seeing him working around his garage on one of his projects. He loved my cat and took good care of him when I was away. Evelyn, Ben, and Joyce, my thoughts and feelings are with you all.

Evelyn, Ben,and Joyce,
I will always remember Mr. Alexander singing in the choir and growing up with your family at Ridge Road Baptist Church. Mr. Alexander always had a warm smile. He is with Christ now and singing in Heaven with eternal joy. You and your family are in our prayers.
