Betty served the Lord faithfully as a wonderful, fun-loving Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Leader and Friend. She loved and enjoyed family, friends, a good laugh, “looking good”, cooking, singing, teaching piano, living on Quail Hollow Drive. She was a lady. She was a life-long learner: finishing 2 years at Greensboro College, before moving to a support role working at Wachovia and NCSU to ensure Dad could finish his degree and become certified as a CPA. She lived a life-time being versatile to use her talents in meeting goals and family needs: Volunteering in schools, church, community, teaching piano, serving as a Girl Scout Field Director.
Betty received numerous recognitions in her professional life. She called Capital Oaks home the last 9 years since Dad’s passing. We feel like God will say “well done good and faithful servant”. We are humbled and very thankful for the incredible relationships and blessings God gave to Mom and us at each stage of her life. We thank you family and friends for walking her and us home well!
