She was a lifelong resident of Raleigh and graduate of Needham Broughton high school class of 1967. Bonnie was employed by the Federal Government National Center for Health Statistics at RTP until her retirement. She enjoyed music, cooking, family, and Life! She is survived by her brother Kenneth and sister in law Mary Anne of Raleigh.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Belle Ward, and nephew, Ryan Ward.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Terra Bella Northridge and staff of Hospice 3HC for the compassionate care provided to Bonnie.
In lieu of flowers donations may be given to Terra Bella Northridge Raleigh, Hospice 3HC, or Emmanuel Baptist Church Raleigh.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 10:30am at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 2100 Noble Rd, Raleigh, NC 27608.
