

Brandon Michael Boddie, 39, of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, peacefully passed away on December 16, 2023, in his hometown. He was born on November 13, 1984, the cherished son of Benjamin Franklin Boddie and Dora Eleanor Bryant Boddie. Brandon was a loving brother to Marcus Terrell Westry (Synthia), Tarus Mandel Boddie (Shauna), and Atiya Nicole Boddie, and held a special place in the heart of his Grandma Lillie. He is also loved and admired by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Brandon had a genuine spirit and was known for his love of family and sports. He cherished his time spent with loved ones and had a passion for cheering on his favorite teams. Brandon's warm personality and caring nature endeared him to those around him.
Brandon received his education from Northern Nash High School and further pursued his studies at North Carolina A&T University. His love of blue and gold ran deep.
In his professional life, Brandon held jobs at the Wright’s Center, working with seniors and disabled adults, and most recently as a stocker at Food Lion. The first thing most would notice and point out about Brandon was his compassion. He was a dedicated employee and a leader at work, always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He did his job well and was respected by his colleagues and those he came in contact with daily.
A Visitation was held on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612. Services to honor Brandon's life were held on Friday, December 22, 2023 at Mitchell Funeral Home. Brandon was laid to rest at Raleigh Memorial Park.
He touched the lives of many, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in eternal peace.
