Throughout his life, Bruce enjoyed golfing, fishing the waters off the coast of Harker’s Island, and UNC sports. He was a veteran of the US Air Force.
In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie F. Riegel, his sisters Doreen Riegel of Trenton NJ, and Jacqueline Nutt of Roselle Park, NJ along with his brother David Riegel of Whitefish, MT.
He is survived by his brother James Riegel and his wife Joanne of Raleigh, NC, his sister in law Deborah Whittington and her husband Don of Dunn, NC and his brother in law Melvin Hunnings of Beaufort, NC
In addition, he is survived by 8 nieces and nephews.
There will be a private service held by the family at a later date.
