Dr. Cecil Gerald Van Dyke passed on May 13, 2026, at the age of 85. He was a former Professor of Botany at North Carolina State University.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the Chapel of Mitchell Funeral Home on May 21, 2026, at 6:00 pm. The family will receive friends following.
