

Christine Yvette Robinson of Goldsboro, NC, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2023, at the age of 45. Christine was born to John and Elaine Robinson on June 21, 1978, in Goldsboro, NC. After spending a few years in Ipswich, England, she grew up in Brooklyn, NY, and was the youngest of two children.
Christine graduated in 2013 from East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree. She worked at several hospital laboratories across New York City, Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia including Lenox Hill Hospital, Lehigh Valley Health Network, and MedStar Health. Most recently she worked as a Quality Assurance Analyst for LabCorp.
Christine was a loving, compassionate, and adventurous person who loved to travel the world and have a good time with her family and friends. She had the most beautiful smile that could light up your soul. Christine was a self-taught home chef and gifted artist. Christine enjoyed high school basketball and in recent years, frequently surprised people with her wicked jump shot.
Christine leaves to cherish her loving memory: her devoted husband, Livingstone Clarke; her beloved son, Darnell Clarke; her mother, Elaine Robinson; her brother, John Robinson; her sister-in-Law, Theresa Robinson; her niece, Azria; her uncle, Rodney McCoy; her aunt, Theresa McCoy; and her cousins, Rodney Jr., Kathryn, John, Joseph, Benjamin, Georgia, Gerald, Niki, and Carol, and a host of friends, and coworkers.
The family would like to thank the UNC Rex Cancer Center and Transitions Life Care for the care and compassion they showed Christine in her final days.
A Memorial Service was held at Raleigh Memorial Park & Mitchell Funeral Home on Saturday, September 16, 2023.

Christine, known to the family as Chris, who lived a selfless life filled with joy, has ascended as a shinning star from this cruel and crazy world, to live on in eternal peace. An angel walked among us. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
