Cliff, as his friends called him, was born October 4, 1935 to the late Clifford Sr. and Rena Harrod. He worked in construction all his life, and even at 90 years old, he was still climbing ladders to do repairs, install gutters, and paint the trim around the house he called home.
He was a devoted and beloved member of the Church of The Cross, where he attended regularly and served by keeping the church and parsonage lawn trimmed. He was an Honorary Gideon, regularly attending their meetings and joining them on street ministry missions. He spent the last 10 years of his life ministering to prisoners and helped several to find their own faith in Jesus.
He is survived by his children Debra Parrish (Keith), Nanette Bryson (Jerry), Gordon Harrod, Timothy Harrod (Lisa), and Denise Duncan; additionally, 16 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Keith Harrod, Bruce Harrod, Mark Harrod, and his sister Karen Holtz.
Cliff was preceded in death by Adele Harrod (his first wife and the mother of his children), Barbara Harrod (his second wife), his parents, and his son, Franklin Harrod.
