Cora Evelyn Hartley

Cora was the glue that kept the family together. She loved the holidays when everyone gathered to celebrate and have a good time. Her family was the most important to her. Cora and her husband Keith enjoyed travelling, especially the annual trips with their special friends. She loved animals, but her favorites were her adorable pugs, Buster and Gizmo.

She is lovingly remembered by her loving husband Keith Hartley, her mother Shirley Godbey, her brothers Gary Harper and Richard Harper and his wife Faye, both of Virginia; and her sister Vicki Taylor of Raleigh; she will be deeply missed by her niece Shirley Taylor and her aunts, uncles, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 25 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh NC. The memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, October 26, at the Chapel of Mitchell Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park.

Memorial donations can be made to the Walk for Hope, or to the SPCA in memory of Cora.
