David Barnette Cox, 64, of Raleigh, died Wednesday, May 23, 2012. Mr. Cox was born on April 10, 1948 in Raleigh NC to Nesbitt Harold Cox and Grace Barnette Cox. He attended NC State University and was President of Micro Tech. Unlimited.
He is survived by his wife: K. Lynne Cox; sons: B. Bryan Cox and wife Stephanie and Douglas E. Cox and wife Katie all of Raleigh; daughter: Kristen E. Cox of Denver, CO; stepson: Will Hall of Cedar Grove, NC; brother: Donald .N Cox of Belfast, ME and 5 grandchildren. He is also survived by his beloved pet, Belle.
David is predeceased by his parents: N. Harold Cox and Grace Barnette Cox; brother, Thomas Allen Cox, and sister, Diane Cox Harrison.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 PM Friday, May 25, 2012 at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612. A memorial service will begin at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Mitchell Funeral Home.
