Dear Scott and Family. I was so sad to learn of her death. She was a treasured friend. Whenever, I think of Deborah I always think of her music and her singing her love of our Lord Jesus during our years in Athens. You will be in my prayers.

Dear Scott and Family, I was stunned and sad to read of Deborah's passing. I counted her among my best friends when I lived in Athens, and enjoyed visiting with all of you on the way back home from my trip to the Olympics in 1996. I will always remember Deborah's strength of personality and character, her loyalty, and her passion for the Lord.

Prayers will be lifted for your family these days. Deborah was such an example to me of the selfless Christ filled life. I am so blessed to have you both as friends. I will miss her laugh and humor. I know my life is so much richer through knowing your family. Thank you for loving so many folks that have been welcomed into your home and your lives.

So many wonderful memories of our families being together when growing up. Love and prayers Scott, Uncle Harold, Dawn and Danny.

Scott, my heart goes out to you. I remember you both and I am happy she lived such a full life.

I feel blessed to have had the privilege to have someone like Deborah in my life. A wonderful parental role model. Deborah helped raise my kids in addition to her own. She will forever be remembered as the craziest of soccer moms and we love her for that. May Scott and the kids know we are all here for them as Deborah was for us. I will miss you very much.

Deborah was a powerhouse of faith and I am blessed beyond what I deserve to have been her friend and one of her roommates at UGA. I still treasure the late night visits in my room in the house on Milledge, talking about Jesus, our journeys, and listening to you sing and play your guitar. I will never forgive you making me sing at your wedding to Scott. But we'll take that up in heaven when we all get there one day. I love you. Your friend, co-conspirator, and Dairy Queen companion.

My sincerest sympathies to the entire family.  Lauren and I have such good memories of soccer/school/birthday activities with Kellan and your family.  Deborah will be remembered as the wonderful/funny/caring person she was and will continue to live in all our hearts.

Deborah was the perfect mom and I am so glad I got to share some soccer memories with her. Hugs and prayers go out to her wonderful family.

I am so sorry. My heart is hurting for you all. Deborah was such a wonderful lady, a great friend, an awesome and caring mom. She made me laugh and we shared many parenting tips throughout the years. She was the ultimate soccer mom - my soccer buddy. We really had some crazy times! My boys could always count on Ms. Deborah on and off the soccer field. A second mom in our village of raising good boys. I will truly miss you and your spunky self my friend. Sending much love, hugs, peace and prayers at this most difficult time.
