I knew Dwayne from working with him at intermec Technologies. I worked as a nationwide service coordinator and he was a service tech. We talked on the phone often as I did with all the techs, but the one thing I remember about Dwayne is that he could sing. I don't know how it ever got started, but whenever we talked on the phone, he would end it by singing Walking in Memphis. Whenever I heard that song from then on, I always thought of Dwayne. May he rest in peace.

Mr. Jones, we all loved you at the leasing office & you will be missed! We will never forget your smile, the laughter we shared and your kindness to us all. Rest in peace!!

I never met Dwayne. I only just heard of him and his passing through a Bowhunting site. But, from what I have read, through comments from family and friends. I really wish I had met him, even if he was not a fellow Hunter.
From all accounts not only did the Hunting community loose a great man. The world lost a great man.
My prayers and condolences to his family and friends as Dwane continues in the Heavens above!
From Idaho with Love!

I didn't know Dwayne . I have seen him and read some of his Articles . He was a Man at the top of his game . Few could Equal , his skills with a Bow or as a Man . To get to where he was was a Feat . At just 53 years of age , he was taken , far too early .
I guess the Lord needed him , in Heaven . If God did , indeed take him , he will watch over his loved ones .
My deepest Condolences to your family . I pray that you find peace , in your broken Heart's soon .

Met Dwayne at Intermec technologies in about 1998, in Everett, WA. We hit it off right off the bat and became great friends. Although I haven't seen him in person in years, we always had old stories as well as new ones to share over the phone. I have never laughed as hard speaking to anyone else. I will miss DJ very much, but I don't doubt for a second that he's in heaven now, cracking others up as he always did.

Never met Mr Jones, but was touched when I read an article about him, and his infectious zest for life, and lasting impression on those that did get to know him. I pray that the Lord will comfort you, his family and close friends during this very difficult time.

Dear Jones family
I did not meet Dwayne in person, but he was such a great inspiration for the Bowhunting Community. His enthusiasm for the sport and lifestyle was contagious and it will take more than one of us to pick up where he left off so hats off to Dwayne for showing us what passion can do for something you love. I can only imagine what he was like with other aspects of his life that were much closer to his heart.
God Bless you Dwayne, we will do our best to keep your energy in motion brother.
All my condolences to you Jones Family.
May God bless you.
Tim Knutsen.

We went to school together. Dwayne was always a kind and sweet person. Always smiling. RIP schoolmate! 🐾 Sending comforting prayers to all of your family, friend's and schoolmate's. 💙🙏❤

Every once and a while a person comes a long that make an impact on you. Dwayne was that person. He was a veteran, a hard worker, a family man and a great friend. You never doubted his intentions. He was always striving to do the right thing. He put others needs before his own. He would consistently reach out to see how you are doing. He would immediately brighten any situation he was exposed too. We would have conversations about how he was going to close the deal on “terminator” (the buck he was after). He had a heart of gold and was an honorable man. I’m proud to call him my friend, more like a brother. Love ya man. Rest in peace and know you made the world a better place.

Dad, Carl, Dwayne and Pelzer. The good times we had.

If you were lucky enough to be in Mrs. McBeth's 3rd grade class with Dwayne, you'll remember when she'd let Dwayne, Anthony Stewart, Reginald Means, and Kenneth Peake sing for the class. LOVED to hear their version of Charlie Brown. Rest in Heaven, Dear Friend.

Dwayne was one of the first people who befriended me when I joined Bowhuntordie. I remember a story he told me about a little boy who came up to him at a deer classic event and said to him how much he liked Dwayne’s hat brim clip. Dwayne reached up and gave the little boy his brim clip . Dwayne told me that it’s not only the first impression that’s important by leaving lasting impressions on people that make the difference. Dwayne did exactly that he made long lasting impressions on all of us that I /we will never forget. Loved hearing his laughter and voice. God gained a great angel and a bow hunter. Thanks for the great memories buddy . Love Adam

A beautiful soul is never forgotten. Rest in peace

Sam had an infectious smile... he always kept us laughing in high school.... one of my fondest memories is of him break dancing when we were in high school. He will be missed. Prayers to his wife, children and entire Jones and Garrett families.

I went to school with Dwayne and he was always the most amazing person to have as a friend. My friend you will be deeply missed.
I send my condolences to Dwayne’s family and friends.
Our loss is Heavens gain.
Thank you Dwayne for being my friend.
                                                            Lisa Bogan

My bro. Dwayne, Sam, Doot, DJ, SharpEyeSam. Nothing like brotherly love. The bond we had could never be broken. Oneday Lil bro., oneday I will see you again. What will I do without you man? Through the ups, downs highs and low you were always there. With a heavy and broken heart I say, rest lil bro. rest. Yes, you are gone but never forgotten. I love you man.😔😪👑💯
Psalm 147:3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

My heart is broken. I never will forget starting my sixth grade year twice at my new sixth elementary school. Five weeks later starting again after another surgery Dwayne Jones and Kenneth had written and performed a poem for me welcoming me there and wishing me a speedy recovery. It meant the world to me more than anyone will ever know. The first time this “always new girl” felt welcome and accepted. I still have it, God bless Dwayne.

Dwayne and I graduated from Jonesville High School with only 49 in our class. We were all close as only small town schools can be. My heart and prayers go out to his family!

From kindergarten to now, always been my best friend. His smile and loving heart will forever be remembered. He gave my son, Cody, a Mathews bow and alot of advise on hunting. My heart is broken but his body is healed. Rest easy my friend. I love you always.

Duane was a dear friend. He Bowhunted with me in Wisconsin. He was one of the best human beings I ever me. I will miss him tremendously.

My thoughts are with the family and friends at this time.

I met Dwayne a few years ago at a bowhunting event in Illinois. He had a larger than life personality and was just a joy to be around. May God grant you the peace that passes all understanding at this most difficult time.

I was lucky to meet Dwayne in 2016 on a training course. We were both new to Peak at the time and we hit it off like old buddies. He had admirable qualities, from constantly speaking highly of his wife and family, to saying Grace before every meal, to just being an awesome guy. I will always treasure our friendship. Sorry for your loss. He will be greatly missed.

I worked with Dwayne many years at National Service Center. He was always such a joyful and loyal person. He cared about the customers he serviced as well as the team who supported him. I enjoyed getting to know him over the years. I have fond memories of his happy demeanor and the way he always had me laughing whenever we spoke. Prayers for his family as you go through this difficult time.

I worked with Dwayne and he was always helpful - showed personal interest and fun to work with. He will be missed.

I loved our talks about bowhunting but even more about Jesus! I pray God will give your family a peace that surpasses all understanding. Save me a spot on your property in Heaven. Look forward to flinging arrows and worshipping Jesus with you my friend!

My sweet brother in law always had a smile on his face, unless of course the weather was too warm to hunt in. I am going to miss you Sam, but we will meet again on the otherside. Rest Easy Soldier 💔

Love and prayers to Furman Jones and his family.

Literally the best personality of a person around. You will be greatly missed by so many! Glad I could call you a friend. Rest In Peace buddy,

I invited Dwayne to one of our Bowhunting.com camp outs years ago, he hit it off right away with everyone. He became one of our very valued teammates in the Bowhunting world. It’s been a pleasure calling him a good friend . I got the good fortune to work with him at the ATA ( archery trade association) events. He always called me Crick ! I’m very sad that he is no longer with us. RIP my friend !
