

Roger worked for Bell South/AT&T in telecommunications. He was a member of Raleigh Area Radio and had a passion for sailing, the beach and the military. Roger loved helping others and he loved his neighbours and community walking hai chi groups.
Roger was in the US Navy, the USS Chicago, he also received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and a Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Ethel Quillin; his brother, Scott Quillin; his nephew, Mark Banner.
He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Warf (Barry); spouse, Nancy Gibson; sisters, Sandra, Mary Banner and Linda Rasmussen; nephew, Jim Banner (Xianjuan), Jack and Amy Rogers, Will Stephens, John Mason Rogers and Kitty-Cat Meringue.
A Memorial Service will be held in Roger's honor at a later date.
